Safety and Security

Fire evacuation

If the alarm sounds leave the building by the nearest exit and go to the assembly point, (you’ll find its location on the wall in your classroom).

During an alert, vehicles other than police, fire and ambulances aren’t allowed to enter or leave the campus.

Follow any instructions given by a fire marshal, (staff in yellow jackets). Do not re-enter the building under any circumstances until you are told it’s safe to do so.

ID badges                              Student Id card

Students must carry their ID badges with them whenever they’re on college premises, and must be produced for any member of staff asking to see them. You can be denied entry or asked to leave if you are unable to do so.

Offsite students wishing to come into college and use the resources on a regular basis can request a badge from Reception.

If you lose your badge, you can get a replacement from the Enrolment Team at Chaffron Way or Reception at Bletchley at a charge of £2.50 .

Health & Safety

It’s everyone’s responsibility to ensure their own health and safety and that of others. A copy of the the College's health and safety policy is available here.

It is the duty of everyone to make sure that any activity or situation that could put someone’s health or safety at risk is reported to a member of staff immediately.

If you have an accident or injure yourself, PLEASE let your tutor or reception staff know immediately. First Aid can then be arranged if needed.
