The College provides access to computing for you in the following ways:

• Open access is provided at the Bletchley and Chaffron Way Library & Resource Centres - opening times are displayed at each Campus and on the Library section of the student intranet. You'll need to show your College id card to use these resources which provide access to the Internet  and a range of software applications such as Word, PowerPoint etc.

• Classrooms - specialist IT rooms at both Bletchley and Chaffron Way Campuses provide access to the Internet, email, skydrive and software relevant to the courses run in the College.

To ensure that our network remains a safe and secure environment, you must comply with College policies and procedures regarding the use of computers at all times. Click here to view the ICT Acceptable Use Policy.

Before you can use College computers you will need to activate your network account and get a password.

To do this, swipe your ID card through one of the Net Mania boxes located in reception or in the library. If you forget your password, you can reset it by swiping your ID card through the machine again. (NB passwords are case sensitive). If you need help please ask a member of library staff.

You log in to your account by typing your Username & Password, which only you will know, you will need to do this each time you start a computer session. You can reset your own password by using the Net Mania facility (blue box) located in the LRC & Main Reception areas and following the display instructions. If you need help, ask a member of the LRC staff.

Finally, you are responsible for all computer activity carried out using your account. If you tell anyone else your username and password and they misuse the system, you're the one who's liable.

Student Printing

You will have an allowance of £12.50

Print costs are:

Black & white A4: 5p per page

Colour A4: 25p per page

You will be able to top up your allowance at the Net Mania machines.
