MK COLLEGE WIN AGAIN
MK College 5 Colchester & Braintree 1
Milton Keynes College carried on their good start to the season with a comfortable 5 -1 win over fellow NCFL league counterparts Braintree College. Goals from Joel Ayetty x2, Alex Dixon, Michael Feshenfeld and younger brother Gabriele Feshenfeld promoted Milton Keynes College to second in the league with 2 wins out of 2. The game was fairly comfortable throughout as Mason Murray remained a virtual spectator throughout in the Milton Keynes Goal. Milton Keynes dominating possession, territory and shots on goal as they cruised into a 4-0 victory by half time. The strikers particularly looking in very good form. The second half provided a good opportunity to use all 5 subs and gave all players minutes to help continue their development, Gabrielle adding to the total. Braintree grabbed a consolation late in the game as a clumsy challenge from Mason in the area resulted in a penalty. Overall a satisfying win, however the coaches were not best pleased as there were signs of casual play and bad habits creeping in to the side. They stressed the importance of maintaining good habits and playing with tempo for 90 minutes no matter what the score is or whoever the opposition they come across.
